Dynamite Diwali!

Hey there, today it is a great festival here at India. The Festival of Lights – Deepavali/Diwali. The main theme behind Diwali is to chase away darkness and bring light into all of our lives. For detailed info on the festival, you can read this Wiki article here.

So, today morning I woke up and and was planning to record some songs, as it is a long weekend. Monday is a holiday for me πŸ˜€. This song by K-pop band, BTS – “Dynamite” struck me hard (Any BTS fans?πŸ™Œ ). The song has the same theme as the festival – to bring light and explode like dynamite and enjoy life, no matter how bad the situation goes.

As I started to record this song, My neighbour fellas started to burst crackers. So what I did was, took a sample sound of the cracker and made it into a drum loop. Finally after many attempts I was able to record a bit of the song. The drum sound that you hear is made by the cracker. I’ve attached the video link here. Hope you enjoy! Have a dynamite Diwali!

Once again, Happy Diwali!
