I think I can’t write anymore
Like how I used to write before
As this becomes recurrent
I fear if it’s going to be permanent

Whenever I sit to think
I feel like my thoughts badly shrink
And when I really try to ink
I stare at the wall and blink

It’s so much complication
Because I find no inspiration
I really unlike this situation
But how can I escape this agitation?

Is anybody there, like me?
My stressful pain can you see?
I myself thought that I am a poet
But oh, I am not and I regret!

  6. Oh my dear! Might I suggest a change of scene? Dive into a novel, let yourself flow in the notes of some music. Go on an adventure, have an experience and if still you feel the same then leave this door shut for a while. If you can’t open it, then it’s not your’s to open for now.

    It will soon beckon you though and the creativity will flow with renewed energy!

    Lovely poem by the way. It expresses the sentiment beautifully without being overdramatic!

Though sometimes, we are not really in the mood to express our feelings, just jot it down and share it later. It might be an inspirations to many.   47. great poem❤ perfect rhyme and something which i guess all the authors will realate to at different point of times.

    I just wanna say that whenever u feel so…when ur mind is not giving ideas and your heart starts to believe that this not not where you are good at…trust me just read ur own previous work.💚 Take a break..read ur poems..ur posts and then seeing those masterpiece will get your confidence back.
    I think our own writings are our biggest inspirations.💛
    And chill buddy …this happens with all of us..we will be happy if u have a break and re post ur old ones again for a while.
    because we know that the next coming is a new wonder piece!❤

We have all been through these periods, and it will pass. When this happens for me, I step away from the keyboard, or piece of paper, and go for a walk, meditate, watch nature, do anything really other than write or think about writing. Helpful.   58. I was in the same state after completing napowrimo of 2021. I felt that my thoughts exhausted and there was nothing left to write on. But that lasted for a couple of months and then I began writing poems. You will get through it just like that!
