You don’t realize how fragile life is
until you hear it’s a deadly disease for someone beloved and your heart skips a beat!

You don’t realize how fragile life is
until you’re at doctor’s appointment hoping
the tests are coming back alright!

You don’t realize how fragile life is
until you find yourself praying to
God for miracles to happen!

You don’t realize how fragile life is
until they say “There’s nothing
more we can do to save them!”

You don’t realize how fragile life is
until you attend a funeral and finally understand that life is a rollercoaster!

You don’t realize how fragile life is
until you know that they’re never
coming back how bad you want them!

You don’t realize how fragile life is
until you understand that tomorrow
is unpredictable and not guaranteed!

So please learn to cherish each moment
that you are given because life is too fragile!

      Indeed life is just fleeting and this pandemic has made it even worse. This poem was written from my own experience that I gone through recently. 💔 I really understood how fragile life is and life’s fate changes just in few seconds.

      This poem was written when I felt really low seeing my best friend’s mom passed away after trying very hard to save her. 💔💔 Sometimes life is too fragile. 🖤

    1. Thank you dear Cindy, Am all good, but this poem was inspired by someone who lost her life recently though my friend put all her efforts to save her mom. But alas, she didn’t survive after all our efforts. Seeing that is so hard and painful. I learnt we just can’t take today for granted! Our dear Astha is indeed a loss to us. Let’s know the value of time because it doesn’t stay same everyday❤️❤️. Have a lovely weekend dear Cindy.

Yes, this is so true we never know the loss we will feel when those we have loved is gone and we don’t get to share our world with them anymore.   34. Akka you really won’t believe this, just when I was taking a walk today I had this feeling that you would post something today and here you are! Serendipity! 🤍 This is a very bittersweet truth about life. Bitter because life is fragile, sweet because it’s happening. Beautiful reminder that we all need to hear at the moment.
