I want to forget this place the wicked world I live in
But not how glorious and essential it is to me!

I want to forget the memories that made me weak and sad
But not the memories that added joy to my strength!

I want to forget the people who caused me pain
But not those who were with me in heavy rain!

I want to forget my past, mistakes and regrets
But not the lessons that I learned from them!

I want to forget those days when I cried and cried
But not the same days that made me strong!

I want to forget the old me to fix myself and explore
And to have a fresh start and shine as never before!

  21. Do you know, I was heartbroken 15 years ago. It was the first time I felt really sad and down and depressed. I prayed to GOD to make me forget the worst parts of the last 2 years of my life. I specifically asked to forget only the bad parts because I am afraid I’d also lose the good ones. Indeed, not instantly, but for some time after, I tried my hardest to remember, I just couldn’t! Sometimes, amazing things like this can happen ❤
